If you haven't listened to the wonderfulness that is fondly known as Seaweed, Slap yourself. While your slapping yourself, you should listen to Seaweed, so you can stop slapping yourself. It's that simple.

Also, Seaweed has reformed to rock our ears again. Rock it!!! Yeah!!!!

UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT B A START

Right now, I am into simple music. Nothing to make my brain go crazy trying to figure out certain musical techniques. It's nice to give that ol' noggin a rest, and just listen to some good music. UUDDLRLRBAS is a band that I have been following since 2005, when I was able to get my hands on their first release, "and nothing is #1".

This sound has a hint of American Football and a lot of the 90's Mid west indie scene. The songs have similar structure and sound, but that's what makes it all the better. I'm no wordsmith, so your going to have to hear for yourself.

Also, this band has an almost non-existent live schedule, but since the new record just came out (worst band name ever), shows a plenty (in the mid alantic area). Anyway, check them out at http://upupdowndown.org/
or at http://www.myspace.com/upupdowndown

On the website, there are some e.p.'s that you can download. So, get on it!!!

Calling All Monsters " The Trap That Works Best"

So, I found this record on emusic.com by chance. What drew me to it was the simplicity of the music. Nothing special, nothing groundbreaking. Just good 90's style alternative.

It has a hint of Dinosaur, with monotone vocals, loud/fuzzy guitars.

I'm not the best at reviewing records, so I really can't get into too many details. But I will post more regarding this as I listen to it more.

All in all it's a good listen. Enjoy.
